Team Profile
Kat is an accounting analyst for the finance team. She spends her time setting up payments and assisting with financials.
Before joining Calvert Impact:
Kat is from Tennessee and has a BS in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During college, she took some time off to work as an organizer on various political campaigns. Since her organizing days, she worked in budget analysis for a political party and as a staff accountant for a family-owned business.
Outside of work Kat enjoys:
Kat is disabled and feels passionately about how the climate change crisis will disproportionately affect disabled, low-income, and people of color. She is part of a wide network of disabled people involved in politics, many of whom are her closest friends.
Kat spends most of her time sitting at home with her cat and a good book, or chatting for hours with her book club!
